About Us
Built by cat people, for cat people
Lotus Cat Lodge is a licensed, home-based cat boarding space in Apopka designed for calm routines, clean spaces, and cat-led handling. We built the kind of place we wished existed.
We built Lotus Cat Lodge around one simple question:
Our Story
What would a loving cat owner need in order to feel confident leaving their cat in someone else’s care?
So we designed everything with intention. From private, walk-in cat condos to security cameras and air filtration, the goal is the same: a cleaner, calmer, more thoughtful experience that supports your cat’s well-being and your peace of mind.
What great cat care looks like when it’s done thoughtfully.
Our Guiding Principles
Cats do best when things feel familiar. We keep routines steady, spaces clean, and interaction cat-led, so they can settle in at their own pace and you can leave with peace of mind.
Cat-Led Care
We follow your cat’s cues and comfort level. No forced interaction. Gentle engagement, quiet companionship, and enrichment that respects personality and pace.
Cleanliness You Can Feel
Stainless steel litter boxes sanitized between stays. Fresh smocks between handling cats. Dedicated air filtration for each indoor catio. Clean is not a vibe. It is the standard.
Safety By Design
Security cameras and layered safety habits, including safety zones at exterior doors. Calm, contained spaces that help cats settle faster and stay secure.
What Makes Us Different
Cat-only, home-based care
A licensed, home-based space designed specifically for cats in Apopka and the surrounding areas.
Cleanliness + Hygiene Protocols
Stainless litter boxes for proper sterilization between reservations, and fresh smocks between handling cats to reduce cross-contact.
Private, Walk-in Cat Condos
No traditional cages or kennels. Each cat has their own dedicated space to stretch, perch, rest, and settle in.
Air Filtration + Safety
Each indoor catio has its own air filter to help reduce airborne respiratory viruses. Exterior doors include safety zones to prevent escapes.
Routine Matters
Owners supply their cat’s regular at-home diet to help prevent digestive upset. Feeding happens on a schedule.
Consent-based handling
Consent-based care only. No forced interaction. We meet cats where they are and follow your care notes closely.
